Sixteen teams joined
us this morning for
our final qualifier
in the Lake Fork
Fall Teams Series in
what would prove to
be a very
challenging day of
fishing for all. For
the first time in
our 3 years of doing
tournaments no
limits were weighed.
Only half of our
anglers were even
able to scratch out
a single fish to
bring to the scales.
The points race for
AOY remained solely
between the teams of
Troy Rossman and
Troy Clemens and
Service Marine owner
Chuck Turner and
Mark Huffman. T1 and
T2 as they are known
had a solid 20 point
lead going into this
mornings event and
nearly had that
taken away from them
catching a single
weighing fish at
.74lbs today to hold
on to that lead by
only 7 points at the
end of the day.
Congratulations to
2009 Lake Fork Fall
Trail Anglers of the
Year Troy Clemens
and Troy Rossman.
For their effort,
they will receive 2
nice AOY plaques to
commemorate their
win, free entries
into the 2010 Lake
Fork Fall Trail and
the honor of topping
some of the very
best anglers Lake
Fork has to offer.
