2009 Lake Fork Fall
Team Trail Championship Results

Twelve of the
seventeen teams who
qualified joined us
Saturday for the
Lake Fork Fall Team
Championship. In
spite if the rough
fishing our anglers
enjoyed a beautiful
day on the water
with some very
challenging fishing.
Two teams did manage
to boat a limit and
three other teams
were able to bring
in a single under
for there efforts.
Many anglers
reported catching
some nice slot fish
that are ready for
warm water and a
spawn. Angler Steve
Taylor CPR a dandy
8lb 11oz beauty
along with several
other slots. I
personally joined
Tom Cornelius for a
few hours in the
water and was
witness to him
boating several nice
slots up to just shy
if 7lbs on a trap in
2 to 4 ft of 49
degree water, thanks
Tom for letting me
join you.
Our championship
anglers were treated
to a barbecue dinner
at weigh in and
thanks to our great
sponsors like
Crucial Tackle,
Zipper Worms, Moe's
Tackle, and A and M
Baits
all were able to go
home with gift cards
or tackle.
Congrats to all of
our anglers who
fished with us in
this very tough
winters. Hope you
